Employment Pathways Coordinator

 

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking an Employment Pathways Coordinator.   The Employment Pathways Coordinator will coordinate support services, education and training in order to prepare low-income individuals to obtain and sustain full-time employment within regional demand occupations. 

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred with two years of experience in program coordination/administration.  Experience with grant administration including budget management preferred.  Must have a clear understanding of the education and employment systems in Cayuga County.

Spanish Translator

 Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a Spanish Translator in our Early Childhood Program. The Translator is to aide staff in providing high quality and comprehensive services to children and their families whose primary language is not English.

 High School Diploma/GED and experience working with pre-schoolers and/or children with disabilities is required.  Ability to converse fluently in both English and Spanish.

Energy Services Crew Member

 

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking an Energy Services Crew Member. The primary responsibility of the Crew Member is to install energy savings measures in homes to reduce the energy burden on the customers we serve.

A High School Diploma or GED is required; Vocational or technical training in carpentry or construction highly preferred.  Working knowledge of basic handyman skills and carpentry skills.  Basic arithmetic skills required.  Must have reliable transportation and a clean and valid NYS driver’s license.

Classroom Aide

 Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a Classroom Aide. The Classroom Aide assists in providing high quality and comprehensive early child development service inclusive of children with special needs.

Child Development Associates credential (CDA) is preferred; or a High School Diploma/GED and enrolled in a program leading to a Child Development Associates credential to be completed within two years; or enrolled in a program leading to an Associate’s Degree or Baccalaureate Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Experience preferred working with pre-schoolers and/or children with disabilities.
