Emergency Services Case Manager

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a Case Manager in our Emergency Services program.  The Case Manager provides case management services to a caseload of eligible participants.  Responsibilities include conducting intake, evaluations and assessments on participants, developing individualized service plans, and responding to customers in crisis seeking assistance through direct contact or referral. 

Associate’s degree in human services or related field required.  Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.  Family Development Credential is desired.  Must have a clean, valid NYS driver’s license. 

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a pay rate of $13.93/hour, 35 hrs/week.

Domestic Violence Advocate/Educator

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a Domestic Violence Advocate/Educator. The Advocate/Educator provides direct services to victims of domestic violence and their children and serves as a liaison between victims of domestic violence and law enforcement, the courts, social services, and other service providers.  Also provides educational presentations to the community regarding the dynamics of domestic violence and the services provided by CSCAA.  Must be comfortable with public speaking and presenting to large groups.

Associate’s degree in human services or related field required.  Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.  Family Development Credential is desired.  Experience developing lesson plans and/or curriculums.  Comfortable addressing small groups or large gatherings comprised of teenagers, the general public, or local dignitaries.  Knowledge and understanding of domestic violence, and the problems and needs of victims.

This position is full-time, non-exempt, 35 hrs/wk with a pay rate of $13.93 per hour.

Assistant Teacher

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Teacher for their Early Childhood Program. The Assistant Teacher helps in providing high quality and comprehensive child development instruction to children and parents, and aids in classroom leadership.

Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or a higher degree in a related field is required.  Reliable transportation and a clean and valid NYS driver’s license is required. 

This is a full-time, 11-month position.  The hourly rate is $13.93/hr, 37.5 hrs/wk.

UPK Teacher

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking a UPK Teacher for their Early Childhood Program in Auburn. The UPK Teacher provides high quality and comprehensive child development instruction to children and parents as well as classroom leadership in a UPK or Head Start/UPK class.  Must have an ability to plan and implement learning experiences that advance the intellectual and physical development of children, including improving the readiness of children for school.

Must possess a NYS Professional Certification inclusive of certification at the pre-kindergarten/nursery level.   Must have a clean and valid NYS driver’s license. 

This is a full-time, 11-month position and is scheduled 40 hrs/wk, 45 wks/yr. The pay rate is $18.51/hr.

Early Childhood Substitutes

Cayuga/Seneca Community Action Agency, Inc. is seeking Substitutes in our Early Childhood Program. Substitutes assist in providing high quality and comprehensive child development instruction to children and parents, and aids in classroom leadership on an as-needed basis.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.  Experience preferred working with pre-schoolers and/or children with disabilities. 

This is an on-call, as-needed position.  The payrate is $10.69/hr.
